Mint for Mounts is a non profit organization that raises funds for horses in need, horses working with governmental agencies, and other working horses.
Mint for Mounts is exempt from Federal Income tax under section 501(c) (3) of the IRS. Contributions to Mint for Mounts are deductible under section 170 of the Code. Mint for Mounts is also qualified t0 receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code. Public Charity status: 170 (b) (1)(A)(vi). Effective Date of Exemption:May 14, 2009.
Our newly created retirement fund will provide for the retirement of police and other working horses. Please go to our Projects page to find out more. We are also accepting pledges to help bring back the Boston Mounted Police Unit.
